How do I get to the shop?
Our address is 2612 Freeport Rd. Natrona Heights PA. We are located dead center of the Triangle Square plaza, just off of RT. 28!
is it rude to ask how much my tattoo will cost?
We understand wanting to know what you are getting into financially, and we do not mind discussing pricing with our clients. We just ask that you be mindful and respectful of our craft and time when doing so. Our artists all charge based on their skill set, artistry, time, and the cost of materials. Asking the price of your tattoo only becomes rude if you attempt to bargain the estimate.
All of our artists have a pricing category located on their portfolio page to help give you a better understanding of what you are looking at price wise!
Should I tip my artists?
Tips are never expected or required, but they are always appreciated. If you choose to tip your artist, How much you tip is entirely at your discretion based on how happy you are with your service.
how do i book an appointment?
You are welcome to contact us at info@hydrainktattoo.com or your artist directly if you have further questions, but the easiest way to book is through our booking form located here on our website.
Please note that no appointments may be secured without a deposit. We ask that you do not submit a form to us until you are deposit ready.
Does hydra ink take walk-ins tattoos?
We do accept walk-ins! Walk-in availability can be found on our social media pages every week, or you can test your luck and just……. well, walk in!
Does hydra ink do coverups?
Each of our artists handles coverups differently. Coverup information for each artist can be found on their portfolio pages. Those that do will always do their best to accommodate and help where they can, but please note, not every tattoo is coverable. If we are unable to help you out, we are happy to refer you to an artist that can, or refer you somewhere for laser removal if we believe it would be the best option.
How do I care for my tattoo?
First and foremost, please always listen to the specific directions given to you by the artist you were tattooed by. in general, Your artist will wrap your tattoo accordingly when you leave the studio. When you get home, remove the wrapping as instructed and wash your tattoo with an unscented antibacterial soap. We recommend Gold dial soap or Dr. broners. lightly pat dry with a clean paper towel. After you have washed your tattoo, apply a thin layer of aftercare of your choosing. Repeat this process 2-3 times a day until your tattoo starts to peel. Once your tattoo begins peeling, apply a non-scented moisturizer 2-3 times a day until peeling stops and your tattoo is fully healed.
Please avoid exposing your tattoo to swimming, sunscreen, or extensive sunlight until it is fully healed.
Does hydra ink offer body piercing?
Our studio focuses solely on tattooing. We do not offer body piercing or jewelry.
How can I pay at my appointment?
Deposits can be made via Venmo, cashapp, Paypal, or on the deposit tab varying between artists. You may also set up a time to stop into the shop with cash.
We will always prefer cash, but we also accept most major credit cards, venmo, cashapp, paypal, google/apple pay, and afterpay as a financing option.
Should I show up to my appointment early?
No. Please show up for your designated appointment time. Your artist is busy preparing for your appointment or finishing up from their previous appointment. Our check in process is very simple and only takes a few minutes.
What should i bring with me to my appointment?
We suggest to bring a few snacks, a drink, headphones, and some type of layered clothing in case you get too hot or too cold during your tattoo.
What should i wear to my appointment?
We recommend to wear black and clothing that you don’t care too much about. Ink splatters happen. ALso keep in mind wear your tattoo is going on your body and try to wear something that allows you to be comfy and provides easy access to the area being tattooed.
Can i bring friends and Family with me to my appointment?
Out of respect for you, your artist, and other clients, WE would prefer that you show up to your appointment alone. If you feel it absolutely necessary to bring someone with you for moral support, we kindly ask for you to limit your guests to One person and no young children. Our booths are intended for our artists and their client.
